can you post more from Scheherazade?

Absolutely!  I just put some in the queue

I am getting a half sleeve of the straw house from the straw house, straw dog poem. Any ideas on how to make the split in the house less awkward, or any ideas in general? I am a lady, also.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean, if you wanna send a message not on anon to give me more details I can probably be more help.  But Straw House, Straw Dogs does have verses and fairly clear divides so I would go along those, or I think piecing together verses could work.

Like this part of the first verse could all work (or again, just parts of this):

Here you are in the straw house, feeding the straw dog. Here you are
in the wrong house, feeding the wrong dog. I had a Coke with ice.
I had four dreams on TV.          You have a cold cold smile.
You were burned, you were about to burn, you’re still on fire.

Here you are in the straw house, feeding ice to the dog, and you wanted
an adventure, so I said Have an adventure.
The straw about to burn, the straw on fire. Here you are on the TV,
saying Watch me, just watch me.

The queue is getting low(ish)

Suggestions for things to post?

Also, feel free to submit.

Hey, I was just curious. How did you find Richard Siken, and which poem is your favourite? :)

I first found Richard Siken through Supernatural graphics, mostly with You Are Jeff quotes (which is why I also run a Supernatural Siken blog).  My original favorite poem was You Are Jeff, mostly just because of how popular it was, it was the first I read.  Now, I would say my favorite poem is Wishbone, or Litany In Which Certain Things Are Crossed Out, or A Primer for the Small Weird Loves, but my favorite poem also varies on which one I’ve read most recently.

Thank you so much!  I actually don’t follow many poetry blogs, but I want to open this up to all the rest of the followers, does anyone have any poetry blogs to recommend?
